Introduction

Legal Guardians (Pty) Ltd was launched in June 2018, and was born out of a desire by its two founding directors to leverage their expertise and experience in the Insurance Industry to provide the public with a wider range of Legal Services and Legal Expenses Insurance offerings at very affordable pricing levels. Its benchmark product range includes specific key differentiators which sets it apart from its competitors, whilst at the same time it strives to remain relevant by being receptive to the changing needs of its core market, and the changing dynamics of society, by developing bespoke innovative solutions in response thereto. The Company's compliance and regulatory oversight capacities have subsequently been strengthened by the appointment to the Board of a leading Insurance Practitioner with a successful record of setting up and running various Insurance organisations, including Micro Insurers and Cell Captives, both locally and cross-border. Its business model comprises of 2 pillars, namely an in-house telephonic legal advice and assistance service, supported by its national panel of Attorneys - and a partnership with Constantia Insurance Company Ltd who is the Risk Carrier for their various Legal Fees Insurance offerings.

This is achieved by investing in and retaining the services of the best and most creative human capital, and partnering with credible Business partners, as well retaining the services of a national panel of Attorney firms - who all share the Company's ethos of honesty, integrity and excellence. Legal Guardians aims to be the Legal Services and Legal Expenses Insurance provider of choice in South Africa within 5 years.

Mission

Legal Guardians's primary focus is to disrupt the Legal Expenses Insurance industry in South Africa by using multiple distribution channels, innovative risk modelling techniques, predictive analytics, coupled with many years of practical Legal Expenses Insurance experience, to ensure that every Policyholder and his/her family enjoys the benefit and peace of mind of having access to a premium legal advice service, as well as Legal Fees insurance coverage with leading Risk Carriers who have a AAA claims rating record.
